The AGM provides an update on the societies’ performance over the past year as well as providing the opportunity to new members and officers to stand for election to the GOVIS Committee. If you enjoyed GOVIS 2019 and would like to get involved in delivering amazing events, GOVIS needs you! GOVIS needs a variety of skills so if you’re a finance whiz, a project manager with flair, can decipher contracts or perhaps marketing and sales is your thing, the AGM is the perfect time to be nominated. Nominations are not limited to member agencies and honorary members are also welcome to stand for the committee.
If you’d like to make a nomination for the officer roles or for a committee member please let the GOVIS Secretary know either prior to the AGM or when you arrive at the AGM.
The AGM will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles at Bethel Woods, 73 the Terrace when the AGM closes. A chance for GOVIS to thank you for your continued support and of course, it’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues.
