Lunchtime forum - A case study in digital government from the USA and Canada

Come along to hear from Aaron Snow – one of the world’s 20 most influential people in digital government.

You are invited to attend the next event is part of a series called Transforming Government - where GOVIS and our partner Silverstripe take a look at some of the ways that digital technology can enable positive change in the way that government operates and delivers services.

We are going to hear from Aaron Snow, who specialises in helping governments serve people better. Aaron has led digital service teams for the national governments of the United States (where he was Deputy Commissioner of the Technology Transformation Service) and Canada (where he was the first CEO of the Canadian Digital Service). Aaron has been named one of the world’s 20 most influential people in digital government. Aaron is currently an advisor with AWS, helping governments around the world on their digital transformation journeys.

Aaron will be joining us online from the United States to share his reflections, insights and predictions for digital government. He will be speaking in a personal capacity, and his comments do not represent the views of his employers past and present. There will be time for questions after the presentation.

You may attend in person at the MBIE offices (limited to 40 people - there will be some food courtesy of Silverstripe), or you may tune in online via Microsoft Teams (the link will be in your order confirmation). If you choose to attend in person please arrive at 11.50am so there is time for you to sign in, pick up some food, and be seated before we begin.
