The GOVIS SIG Awards are intended to promote the aims of GOVIS and benefit the membership by assisting, each year of the award, a number of active Forum members to attend a conference selected by the Forum and approved by the SIG Awards Committee. In return, GOVIS expects the sponsored conference attendee will give a presentation to members discussing the learnings they have gained from their attendance at the selected conference. The details of the award, eligibility rules, and processes surrounding the award, applications and selection can be found here. Forum co-ordinators will canvas their respective Forums for potential conferences that members believe will be of value and interest to GOVIS members.
