The
Buzzies are peer recognition awards by GOVIS members to their
colleagues. It's never been easy to get members to nominate their
projects for consideration, but this year we received a record
number of nominations, a sign, we believe, that indicates the
increasing maturity of the awards.
Once
again, we thank our interviewer and copy-writer, Jillian Armstrong,
for her professionalism in capturing and documenting your stories.
Jillian and the judges of this year's awards have repeatedly
described themselves as "blown away" by the innovation, quality, and
competence of the projects they've been privileged to review.
GOVIS
congratulates all the nominees. It takes considerable courage for
agencies to share these stories, especially, as some have noted, in
front of their peers who must surely be one of the most critical
audiences any of us can face. We commend these stories to our
members.

Acknowledgements
GOVIS expresses it's thanks and appreciation to
all nominees, judges, organisers, and their agency employers.
Without the willing contribution of your time and energy, the
Buzzies could not happen. Thanks to your efforts we have achieved
an event to be proud of and an award that is increasingly sought
after.
Note: It's not always easy to get
nominations in all four categories. At their discretion, the
judges may consider a story under one or more categories, or even
under a category the nominee did not originally consider.
