David Roberts
David Roberts is the Chief Executive of the State Records Authority of
New South Wales. As Manager of the then Records Management Office (an arm of the Archives
Authority of New South Wales) from 1993 to May 1998 he oversaw the Authority's projects on
Government-wide recordkeeping standards, electronic recordkeeping and the development of a
general records management thesaurus.
David is a member of the Standards Australia committee that developed
the Australian Standard on records management (As 4390-1996) and of the ISO committee that
is developing an international standard based on the Australian work. He is the author of
the Archives Authority's 1995 discussion paper, Documenting the Future: Policies and
Strategies for Electronic Recordkeeping in the New South Wales Public Sector. |
Grant Dreghorn
In January 1998, Grant Dreghorn joined Oracle as General Manager of the
Federal Government Division, based in Canberra. His charter is to further develop Oracle's
presence in the market specifically in the provision of applications and business
solutions. Recently Grant's responsibilities have been expanded to a regional role,
directing Oracle's engagement and solutions strategies for national governments in
Australia and New Zealand.
During his career Grant has undertaken various successful roles ranging
from business analysis, project management, strategic consulting, corporate risk,
management consulting, general management (in Consumer Goods industry) and more recently
general management in the information technology industry. |
Warren Richter
Mr Warren Richter is the General Manager of the Strategy and Policy Group of the
Australian Office of Government Information Technology (OGIT). Among his responsibilities
are chairing the Government Public Key Authority. He recently joined OGIT from the
Australian Bureau of Statistics, and previously was a member of the Information Management
Steering Committee. |
Todd Ramsey
Todd S. Ramsey is the general manager for government industry in Asia Pacific. His
responsibilities include directing IBM's consulting,
solutions, sales and distribution business for governments in Asia Pacific. He has worked
with governments for over 25 years developing hardware and software and leveraging
information technology to improve government efficiency, service levels and promote
economic development. He is a member of IBM's Worldwide Government Management Board |
Derek Gill
Derek is Branch Manager, Strategic Development Branch, State Services
Commission. The Strategic development function is the applied research capability in the
SSC that focuses on the next generation of issues for public sector management in New
Zealand. Current projects include senior management development, the future structure of
the public service, labour market capability, governance of non departmental entities and
improving the responsiveness of the public service to citizens.
Derek has an extensive background is in public management and public
economics. Prior to joining the SSC, in September 1997, Derek held a number of senior
positions in the NZ Treasury and has spent four years in the NZ overseas service as
Counsellor (Economic) in Washington DC. Derek has degrees in Economics, Accounting and
Politics from Victoria University of NZ and a MA (Economics) from George Mason University
in Virginia.
